ABOUT The Movement

San Leandro Academy for Multimedia has come together once again to fast nonviolence. Our group in particular has decided to focus on the fight against domestic violence. We hope to spread more awareness on this growing issue, specifically violence against men.

Facts:

1 in 7 (13.8%) aged 18 and older in the United States have been the victim of sever physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Nearly half of all men in the United States have experienced psychological aggression by an intimate partner in their lifetime(48.8%).
